Our mission is to distribute the highest quality medical, pharmaceutical, home health care and surgical products to individuals, health-based organizations and businesses both locally, in the Cayman Islands and regionally throughout the Caribbean and Central America.

BWM strives to deliver the best quality products and a range of choice to help drive efficiency, manage costs and enhance patient care. Our dedication to customer service means we provide distribution you can count on and support every step of the way.
Our long-term strategy is to educate the consumer about options we offer and the service level we maintain. BWM will also work with local businesses, in particular the Hospitals, Doctors, Medical Insurance providers, Care facilities and Government to enhance the operations and services offerings and reduce their running costs.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS
BWM has several strategies to optimize profits and plans on providing five types of products, listed below:
1) Sale and rental of Durable Medical Equipment (“DME”) – Includes equipment and supplies ordered by a health care provider for everyday or extended use. Coverage for DME may include oxygen equipment, wheelchairs, crutches, or blood testing strips for diabetics.
2) Consumables – Includes gloves, diapers, syringes, one time use items, etc.
3) Over the Counter (“OTC”) – Creams, pain relievers, anything not requiring a prescription.
4) Pharmaceutical - Brand and generic injectables, tablets, capsules, ointments, creams, liquids requiring a prescription.
5) Surgical equipment.
HISTORY, EXPANSION, AND GROWTH
BWM was incorporated in June 2018 after identifying an opportunity in the local market. Established suppliers had missed the mark in pricing and customer service. We made an immediate impact as a direct result of our pricing, quality of products and customer care offered.
We have grown and become an established, organized company with logistics, storage and staffing capability to meet every need of our customers. Currently we supply all the local pharmacies, over 30 private medical professional and facilities with Rx Drugs, medical equipment, and supplies.
In January 2019, BWM was appointed and remains as the Medtronic Distributor for the Cayman Islands.
In August 2019, we began distributing regionally to the US Virgin Islands, Barbados and Jamaica, with our largest client located in Jamaica. We are actively pursuing tenders and other distributorships in neighboring countries.
Our pricing is exceptional, and we are strategically small as to mitigate cost and simultaneously be nimble and responsive. These traits have been clearly demonstrated during the current COVID period, as we have been a very active participant in the provision of PPE supplies for the Cayman Islands Health Services Authority and the Jamaican National Health Fund. We have sourced, purchased, and supplied the CIHSA with over CI$ 1,000,000 (one million) of ‘hard to find’ PPE medical equipment and supplies with our own funds.
We are continually adding products to our offering, as of March 2021 we offer over 1,400 different pharmaceuticals and 350 medical supplies, including vital PPE and Vaccines.
